Nexus LV with a clear vision.  

Our purpose is to bridge the gap of communication between the nonprofit organizations of Las Vegas by creating a communication and information hub for the current and future nonprofits, service clubs, and volunteer groups operating in Las Vegas.  We believe that active communication among community-minded groups is the best and most efficient way to help those in need in the Las Vegas area.

We are also committed to informing the growing numbers within our community about these generous organizations.  When crisis strikes, it may be difficult to figure out who to turn to for help.  Nexus LV is here to connect the families and individuals in need with the appropriate organization and services available to them.  
 

In large part, our contribution to this process is broadcasting a free live radio show.  Guest speakers describe their organization and recount the moving stories of people they have helped and how they have done so.  Listeners of the show may need similar help or know of people who do and will now know who to turn to.

By creating clear channels of communication within this fast growing network of organizations, we are striving to eliminate the difficulties of finding the correct person and group to contact when one is faced with life's challenges.  We provide the people of Las Vegas with an organized and efficient path to those best equipped to provide the support and answers needed.
 

As we all know, our community has taken a big hit in the recent economic downturn.  People have become nervous and their trust and endurance have been stretched to the limit. Some may have lost everything while others do not have access to needed services due to overcrowding and a lack of funding.  You can see and feel the distress throughout our society through television, music, newspapers, magazines, the news, and of course, in our daily conversations.  

Nexus LV respects and admires all the foundations and organizations in Las Vegas working to build a sense of community, integrity, and reliance on our fellow citizens.  The growing number of nonprofits is astounding.  The number nearly surpasses 4000 in Clark County alone.

We believe that the nonprofit organization is one of the best tools we have for restoring faith in each other and our community and in making the world a better place to live.

Although we look upward for hope, we must also look sideways toward each other for hope and support.
